World Can't Wait is organizing people living in the United States to take responsibility to stop the whole disastrous course led by the Bush administration. We seek to create a political situation where the Bush administration's program is repudiated, where Bush himself is driven from office, and where the whole direction he has been taking U.S. society is reversed.

PROTEST THIS THURSDAY: NO MORE TROOPS IN IRAQ, NO MORE TORTURE!

This Thursday, Jan 11, there will be protests nationwide regarding 2 of the most damning and impeachable offenses of the Bush Regime: the war on Iraq and torture.

Bush plans to announce an increase in troops on Wednesday, his "surge" strategy in Iraq. Protests are being called by many groups across the country the Day After the announcment, including World Can't Wait and True Majority. When Bush announces "more", we say NO!

Thursday also marks the 5th Year of US imprisonment and torture. Groups around the country will also be protesting to Shut Down Guantanamo.

Below is a listing of 3 protests in Cleveland on Thursday, Jan 11.

*8 to 9 am protest torture at the Federal Courthouse, W Huron & Superior, downtown Cleveland (jane963doe@hotmail.com)

*2 pm at the Lakewood recruiting station at 15608 Detroit Ave. When Bush announces "more", we say NO! Protest and street theatre...we will be wearing orange cleveland@worldcantwait.org

*4 to 5 pm. Start @ 4pm on Public Square and March to federal building. Please join Cleveland Peace and Justice groups to call for the Closure of Guatanamo Bay and all Secret Prisons. We will be marching to the federal building in Jumpsuits and a Prison Cage to Dramatize the Horror of Toture and the lives of detaines. (Cknest11@yahoo.com)
