World Can't Wait, OHIO

World Can't Wait is organizing people living in the United States to take responsibility to stop the whole disastrous course led by the Bush administration. We seek to create a political situation where the Bush administration's program is repudiated, where Bush himself is driven from office, and where the whole direction he has been taking U.S. society is reversed.

Cleveland: Public Community Planning Meeting for October 5
Nationwide Day of Resistance to the Bush Regime
Thursday, September 7
7 - 9 pm
Cleveland State University, room 364 of the University Center

E. 21st & Euclid

downloadable flier: copy and post everywhere!

Everyone welcome and needed- organizing materials will be available here.

In every city where World Can’t Wait has organization, and in many cities where it doesn’t yet, people will gather simultaneously at 7pm on Thursday September 7 to get organized. They’ll hear from leaders of the movement, and meet others in their area ready to organize for a day of mass protest exactly 4 weeks later.

Basic Plan for Cleveland on October 5:

Noon: Free Stamp at Willard Park, E. 9th & Lakeside
March! around the Federal Building

We have a permit for the Willard Park (at the Free Stamp), right across from the Federal Building in downtown Cleveland. We will set up a "Camp Creative Resistance," with art, musicians, speakers, an open mic, drum circles, and more. We will march and then put up yellow "crime scene" tape at the Federal Building: this is where Crimes Against Humanity are being committed!
