We seek to create a political situation where the Bush administration's program is repudiated, where Bush himself is driven from office, and where the whole direction he has been taking U.S. society is reversed.

Larry Everest is the author of "Oil, Power & Empire: Iraq and the U.S. Global Agenda" (Common Courage 2004). He has covered the Middle East and Central Asia for over 25 years for Revolution newspaper and other publications, reporting from Iran, Iraq, Palestine and India. Everest traveled to Iran in 1979 and 1980, shortly after the revolution, interviewed Islamic militants holding the U.S. Embassy, and reported from Iranian Kurdistan. He testified before the 2005 World Tribunal on Iraq in Istanbul, and helped organize the 2005-2006 Bush Crimes Commission. He's a contributor to "Impeach the President - the Case Against Bush and Cheney" from 7 Stories Press.
